COMMUNITY EXPOSURE
Exposure of the students to the Community from the very beginning of the course is a characteristic feature of the educational programme leading to MBBS of the USTC. This is in addition to what is laid down in the curriculum of the Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council. The purpose is to produce doctors capable of working in a rural set-up and with the rural community with limited facilities in a different social environment. This, we believe, will help growth of leadership among the trainee students under the supervision of Experts in Community Medicine. In addition, the process will help develop Primary Health care system in Bangladesh. |
